The machine shows some general signs of wear from use, and has some scratches and spots. The unit came from an estate and has only had limited testing.  The primary functions  appear to work fine. I inserted a tape, and it played without issue. I also tested the rewind and fast forward functions, and they are working without issue.   If you hit either of the channel buttons, the select screen comes up, but none of the buttons on the unit scroll through the functions (you may need the remote for this). 

I don't have a blank tape to test the record function, but if you hit the record button while an actual movie is in it, it will spit out the tape and give a "check cassette record tab" message.  The unit does not come with remote or AV cables, and is being sold in as/is condition.
