Sharp Viewcam VL-E40 with extras. I have tested the camera with the included battery and with the mains adapter. It powers up and the screen works, and all functions appear to work.

I have tested the camera with a tape. Record, play, FF, RW all work as they should. I have tested recording and it works. The heads could do with a clean as the footage is a bit fuzzy (some of this may be due to the old tape). But this is lo-fi tech so it’s never going to be perfect.

The inside is clean and in good condition.

Comes with 2 batteries, boxed. Due to age I don’t know how well the batteries will hold their charge, but I charged them and they work. There is a battery discharger and charger with additional adapter to power the camera directly from the mains. There is a clip on sun shield for the LCD screen. A bunch of cables and connectors are also included.

Very interesting price of retro tech. Comes with an adapter to connect it to regular video inputs, so it could easily be connected to a USB video converter to transfer onto a computer.

See my many years of positive feedback. Camera listed to the best of my knowledge. Grab a bargain. From what I can determine the camera is in full working order. No returns.
