Short description = Brassica oleracea - Tuscan Palm Kale Nero di Toscana Kale - A unique Italian breed, named as early as 1885 as ''Cavolo Nero'' or ''Tuscan Black Palm''. A wonderful (ornamental) kale with long tongue-shaped, dark blue/green leaves. Once the plants are fully grown, they have a palm-like model. Great in the ornamental garden, but also in pots and containers. Sow on plant beds or directly in (press) pots. Keep the soil moist. Plant out around June/July in well-worked and composted soil. Delicious in soup and wook dishes, among others.
