While the character of Sun Wukong may not be as well known outside of China as some other legendary heroes, the stories of the Monkey King have indeed inspired many other characters and stories.
Creating an action figure of Sun Wukong has been high on Four Horsemen lead sculptor, Eric Treadaway’s “to do” list for many years, and the introduction of the Figura Obscura line gave him the perfect vehicle in order to make this project a reality.
