Vintage Rolled Gold Oval Double Sided Glass Photo/Hair Pendant Locket c1900

This is a lovely Vintage Oval Double sided Glass Photo/Hair Locket/Pendant. This locket is stamped 'Rolled Gold' (gold plated) and on the inside is stamped 'Patent' and 'Gilt metal', the inner ring holding the two pieces of glass is the gilt metal which matches the rolled gold oval locket frame. To remove the centre oval and glass: place back down on a soft surface and push firmly but carefully downwards, place photos or hair between the two glass ovals, place these in the gilt metal oval and replace it in the gold oval face down, now push it carefully into place. This locket is in very good condition for age and would make a lovely keepsake gift. The oval measures: 3cm x 2.25cm and will take photos  2.3cm x 1.8cm cut to an oval.
