Reluctantly selling this 1990 blue BMW E30 316i Lux Coupe, with only 2 previous owners and has a genuine low mileage of 66400.

V5C registration document and Service History with pictures on request. MOT until 8/8/24 (has done less than 200 miles since last one). Car can be taxed as required.

Selling as I’ve hardly driven it (done less than 1000 miles in 3 years of ownership), and I now need 2 family cars so unfortunately this has to make way.

The car has a 2-door saloon body type, right-hand drive, and is powered by a 1596cc petrol engine.  It has an automatic transmission.

The interior of this BMW is blue and in exceptional condition, no marks, discolouring, dashboard cracks at all (drivers seat could do with a shampoo), and complements the exterior colour well. Has original radio and all electrics including lights, sunroof, wing mirrors and windows work as expected

The engine has also been well-maintained and runs smoothly. Starts first time, responsive and pulls well. Emissions still surprisingly good considering age of car. Battery needs a good charge as has been standing for long periods between uses. Have recently replaced suspension arms and bushes, engine mounts and few other bits and it now rides comfortably with tight steering. New brakes lines fitted at last MOT, brakes work well.

As you can see this car has had a few modifications from previous owners, including the following;

M3 body kit (fibreglass)
Colour coded eye lids
Sports exhaust
Lowering springs
Brand new 17” JR multispoke deep dish, wider rear alloys (I bought these, spacers, extended bolts and 4 fresh tyres for £1200).
I have the German style rear lights that came with the car if interested (I changed for original rear lights)
It looks like it had a full respray to original colour before I bought it.

The bad bits (my honest review to save both of us time);

The body work needs some TLC - there are a few areas of bubbling / cracking paintwork around the corners / edges.
The bodykit could be fitted better and needs tweaking in alignment to be perfect.
A few small patches of light rust around battery bracket and subframe but nothing serious / integral.
All major work has been done to keep car in good road worthy condition… this is genuinely the only area of the car that needs attention to turn it into a £10k+ car.

I would have gradually done all this over time (plan was to turn it into more of an M3 replica) but the kids have taken over! This car is an iconic piece of automotive history that really does turn heads wherever it goes. 3 people stopped to chat to me about it when I washing it for this advert!

Happy to send any additional pictures / chat through any of the above with anyone. Due to work I will be limited to evening / weekend viewings only for genuine buyers.

Also open to offers (e.g I can throw in the other lights / take the alloys off if you want to lower the cost etc…) - priced to sell quickly. First to see will buy!
