Offered for sale is this very nice example of Little Orphan Annies dog "Sandy" lithographed tin windup toy, manufactured sometime in the 1930's by Marx & Co. The toy measures about 5" long x 4 1/4" high, and is in excellent condition. The windup mechanism works as it should: give the key a couple of winds and the little dog scampers forward, legs working frantically.  The lithographed finish is still bright and shiny, and though there is some light play wear, there are no dents, splits, or other significant damage. Sandy has lost the suitcase that he would have grasped in his mouth, but is otherwise complete and original
