The tabletop slides open on a layer of green felt. Simply pull up the exposed bottle holder which locks into place at table-height. When finished entertaining, lift up on the server unlock it, slide it down, and then slide the top closed to transform back into a coffee table. There are shelves to place your cocktail glasses and a large hidden area behind a locking door that will conceal your cocktail supplies. 3 Casters makes this a bar-cart. Not pictured but functional and included. Key in included. Manufactured by AH Stock in Newton, Wis. There were few made and are hard to find - especially in this condition. Own this statement piece of history with mid-century style. It is a conversation starter.
