An interesting and attractive lithographic map of the Middle East and part of Asia in c.310 BC. It is titled 'Kingdoms of the Successors of Alexander after the Battle of Ipsus, B.C. 301.' and was published by Longmans, Green & Co. in 'The Public School Atlas of Ancient Geography' in 1877. The kingdoms shown are those of Cassander, Lysimachus, Seleucus and Ptolemy.

The printed area measures approximately 310mm x 233mm with margins beyond, blank verso.

Conditon report: Very good condition. Centrefold as published. Light age toning. Very minor closed tear at each end of the centrefold (each approx. 2.mm). Small hole to the lower left margin, well away from the printed area. Please study the photographs carefully to fully appreciate the condition.
