EDWARDIAN

ART NOUVEAU

CASED PAIR

WALKER & HALL

SHEFFIELD SILVER PLATED

SERVERS

A beautiful large pair of silver plated fish or dessert servers with Art Nouveau inspired handles and a large scimitar blade to the one piece and a five tined forkhead to the second. They have a registration pattern number for the Edwardian period. Made by Walker and Hall of Sheffield they are offered in their original ice and royal blue lined case.

They are in good structural condition. There is a freckle of wear to the scimitar which shows in some of the images provided. To the blade there are also fine use scratches but the cover, apart from the aforementioned ‘freckle’, is otherwise intact. The fork looks to have been rarely used. The case has some expected scuffing and one small scar to the upper part of the lid also as shown in the relevant image. The hinges and clasp work well.

Display well and from a good Sheffield maker.
