An excellent example of this very hard to find 1905 Lewis and Clark Exposition medal - known as HK-329 (which is technically only in Bronze), rather this is the rarer Antique Bronze version. You can see some of the brush or wipe strokes from when the antiquing was originally applied. There are 1 known metal type with 3 additional varieties of Finish for this medal known - Bronze, Antiqued Bronze, Silver-Plated Bronze and Antique Silver-Plated Bronze. As detailed in Shevlin-Hyder's new book Vol. 1 United States Expositions - this is the 34mm SCD variety of the Lewis and Clark medal, struck by Joseph Mayer and Brothers of Seattle. Plain edge, medal orientation. The reverse features the U.S. Government Building. for collectors of HK and SH medals, this is a must-have and you will be hard pressed to find a higher graded medal - NGC has graded 15 higher, half in 62. I think this is undergraded and worthy of resubmitting (and adding new SH # which will make these even more valuable.)
