THE ULTIMATE ADD-ON CONTROLLER FOR SERATO DJ OR REKORDBOX DJ

The DDJ-XP1 and the DDJ-SP1 have come together to make the DDJ-XP2.

A similar size, shape, look and feel to the XP1, but now the XP2 works with Serato DJ Pro as well as Rekordbox DJ - and it comes with a Rekordbox DVS license.

Use the 32 RGB performance pads to control hot cues, beat jump, slicer, sampler, rolls, loops, and in some modes you can split the pads over 2 different modes so you can enjoy both performance features at the same time.

And not only that, it's compatible with the latest features that have been added to the software.

SILENT CUE

Easily mute either deck with the Silent Cue feature available in Serato and Rekordbox DVS. Cue up your track with the fader up, and drop it using one of your Hot Cue buttons - without the need to touch your fader.

This is particularly useful if you want to eliminate the sound of a track speeding up when you press play on a turntable.

TRANSPORT MODE

Use the 16 pads to trigger Play, Pause, Cue, Pitch up/down, change tracks and more in both Serato DJ and Rekordbox - very handy if one of your decks develops technical issues during your set.

PITCH PLAY

Never before have you been able to control features in Serato with 16 pads! Now on modes like pitch play, you can enjoy a more versatile experience. With 60 semitones at your disposal, that's more than an octave to play with.

SETTINGS AREA

The browse knob will come in handy here for any DJs who aren't using a mixer/CDJs/turntables with that function already available. Choose your next track without having to touch your laptop.

You've also got your Beat Sync buttons, Quantize buttons, and key shift buttons - allowing you to use Sync if and when you require, and create harmonically perfect transitions with the Key Shift function.

There's also a handy slip reverse button.

FX STRIPS

Up each side is the FX sections - consisting of Slide FX buttons, so you can choose which FX you want to manipulate using the touchstrips down each side. These can be used to control how wet/dry the effect is or many other parameters dependant on the effect you've chosen. The touchstrips really provide a very different FX experience to using a knob and can really inspire you to use FX differently. The Hold button also allows you to keep the parameter at the current place without you having to keep your finger on the touchstrip.
