This bone china cup and saucer was made by New Hall circa 1812-20 , it is from the Pat Preller collection and bears her label on the base .
It is decorated with bat prints of country scenes , this is pattern number 1063 .
The print on the saucer is titled "The Duke of Devonshire's seat at Cheswick" .
The teacup stands at 2 3/8" high and the saucer measures 5 1/2" in diameter .
There is a crack on the top edge of the cup of about 2" in length , there is no glaze crazing .
There are some speckles of kiln dust and a firing crack on the footrim of the saucer , all from when it was made .
I will be listing lots more New Hall from the Pat Preller collection over the next few months , due to Pat thinning out her large collection .
