Antique MZ Moritz Zdekuer Austria 8-1/2" decorative plate featuring lovely hand decorated pink and white cabbage roses on thorny vines. This has the MZ Austria mark dating it as c. 1884 ~ 1909. Very good used condition. This has extremely minimal pattern wear that does not detract. Most of the artwork is flat; there ae some raised white accents for dimension that may have been added after the original artwork was completed. This plate has a series of very fine, faintly tinted, surface stress crack/crazing lines that can be observed from both sides. They all radiate out from a central point; perhaps an impact point. The plate is very sound.

If not mentioned specifically elsewhere in this listing, all bright shiny white/gold spots, any "filmy" areas and any uneven color tones are due to camera flash and overhead lighting effects.
