This 1853 Three-Cents Silver coin undoubtedly served its’ purpose as it saw many years of circulation before being rescued and saved from melting.  I believe the coin grades AG/G with the reverse having fairly nice detail.  However, you should view the photos closely, compare my coin(s) against others on Ebay, and then form your own opinion as to grade and value!  Please note that I scan my photos and that the occasional white speck/fleck on or near the pictured coin was on my scanner bed and not a defect on the actual coin.  These scanned photos should provide you with a “what you see is what you get” scenario. 
This Type 1 example actually Trends at $41.00 in undamaged, full Good condition in the April-2024 issue of Numismatic News Magazine.  Compared to other 1853’s in AG to AG/G condition that area listed on Ebay - My coin is priced as a BARGAIN!
