Size: The printed area measures approximately 380mm x 290mm with margins beyond; blank verso.

Description: a very finely steel-engraved plan of Liverpool incorporating significant detail of street and place names. There is an inset plan of Liverpool in 1729 and a view of it in the same year, as well as a small view of the Black Rock Lighthouse. The elevations of notable buildings are engraved along the bottom of the sheet.

Cartographer / engraver: Engraved by T Starling, and published under the superintendence of the Society for the Diffusion of Useful Knowledge (SDUK).
