Here we have my Uncle's own ULTRA RARE Vintage Oriental Glass Egg & Stand. It is hand painted inside the glass. The stand is original and comes in its own original cushioned presentation box that has the original bamboo pins which lock the box shut.
This has sat in a drawer in my Uncle's study for over thirty years and has only been taken out of the box very occasionally. It is so beautiful to look at.
The depiction on the egg is of a Japanese lady surrounded by exotic Japanese plants.
Dimensions are: Egg on the stand - H = 85mm, Diameter = 50mm,
Box, H = 60mm, L = 108mm, D = 60mm
