This pen is in very good refurbished condition and appears to have all it's original parts. It has been resurfaced to remove minor surface flaws and it has been fitted with a new ink sac. Please see below for a brief tabulation of the refurbishing steps. There are no cracks, dents, scars or monograms. The barrel is unmarked at this point. The Parker Lucky Curve stamp has worn away. The barrel has also darkened due to rubber sac gasses released and absorbed by the celluloid over time. This is a typical finding in pens of this vintage, particularly in the jade green color. This time worn feature forces me to define this particular pen as refurbished instead of labeling it restored. A restored pen would be brought to its original condition and that is impossible in this case. The gold nib is labeled PARKER DUOFOLD MADE IN USA and there is no date code. It also does not say 14k but it appears to be, as would be typical of a Parker nib of this vintage. It delivers a fine line but it has a moderate amount of flex enabling a bit of flare in the writing process.The cap has a ball clip that is labeled PARKER and the cap has two narrow gold bands. Both the clip and the bands are probably gold plated over brass. Both are in very good condition. The pen measures 4 ½ inches capped and 5 ¼ inches posted. The barrel is almost ½ inch in girth so writing with it is quite comfortable and I have a large hand. It weight 4 oz. securely packaged and read for shipment.
The restoration process includes:
Disassembly
Internal and external cleaning of the barrel, cap and blind cap.
External resurfacing with eight grades of fine sandpaper followed by two grades of polishing compound.
External treatment with Gerlitz No. 1 Carnauba Wax & Polish.
Clean and polish the feed, gold nib, clip and cap rings with Glitz.
Replaced sac after talc application.
Thread lubrication with silicon solution.
Reassembly, filled with Waterman's Serenity Blue ink and tested on Rhodia.
Complete flush and rebuff for presentation

It will cost more and It is supposed to take 2 to 3 days but experience indicates that it can take up to 6 days. If free shipping is not included a small shipping and handling fee may be included.
