What a lovely and elegant hand-painted portrait plates this piece is.  It is Rosenthal porcelain and features a lovely young woman in a peach dress.  It is artist signed on the front (looks like) Lanagise.  It is rather heart shaped with a golden porcelain ribbon at the top and embossed heavy gold border.  Maker's marks on underside.  A wonderful display and you be the next caretaker of this lovely piece of art.
