Undated, but published circa 1890s, this is an early
printing of The Mysterious Island, Jules Verne’s sequel to 20,000 Leagues Under
the Sea, published in three volumes with attractive pictorial bindings, titled
in gilt, books are well illustrated with the full complement of illustrations
that appeared in the First Editions.

CONDITION
Books have some corner bumps and spine edge rubbing wear,
some wear to spines, frontispiece tissue guards are present in two volumes, and
both are foxed and creased with some tears, Secret of the Island has some
noticeable wear to the cloth at both spine ends with some loss, internally the
first two volumes have some light marking to endpapers light browning to outer
page edges else in good condition, Secret of the island has heavy browning and
foxing to endpapers, some foxing to page edges within, some creased page
corners else in acceptable condition.
