During WW2, combat photographers created a day-by-day pictorial record of immeasurable historic and human value. These contain over 2,000 of the finest and most evocative of those, beginning with the build up of American forces in Britain and ends with the collapse of Imperial Japan.

Orignally published in 1952, these were published in 1990.
