The Celestron C8 is a Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope purchased in the 1990s, with an aperture of 8” (203 mm). It comes with a case, tripod, mount, and extras as pictured, including plossl eye pieces, a dew shield, tripod, mount and lens cover. Please see pictures for everything included.

This item is from my father’s garage and I did not use it. This is the condition in which we found it. Some small screws may be missing. I am not sure what type the mount is, please identify from the pictures. I can’t adjust the height of one of the tripod legs, but it is otherwise very sturdy.

The optics appear in perfect condition as you can see in the pictures. However, I am told the motorized tracker is not functioning. So all tracking has to be done manually unless you can fix this tracking mechanism from the 1990s, or you mount the telescope on a newer computerized mount.

Please let me know if you have questions or would like to see additional pictures.
