2010 Gibson Les Paul Traditional Goldtop.

The pickups have been upgraded to a set of unpotted Sunbear PAF 59s - bridge Alnico IV measuring 8.3 and Alnico III neck measuring 7.0.

The bridge, stoptail and studs have been upgraded to High quality German Faber parts. The tuners have also been upgraded to Faber ones. All the plastic parts have been upgraded to Historic types bought from either Charles Guitars or Crazy Parts in Germany. All of the wire including a new Switchcraft switch has been upgraded to Vintage braided wire.

The wiring loom has also been upgraded to a Charles Guitars 50's style wiring loom using CTS TVT Superpots and Jupiter Capacitors. All of the upgrades have been done expertly by Tomson guitars in Wigan. The guitar comes with a good condition Gibson Hardcase that came with the guitar.

Weighs 4.325kg. Neck is a fatter ‘59 neck not ‘60s.

It’s been played nearly everyday since I have owned it. There is the odd ding and scratch, mostly in the back - that adds to the look. This guitar now sounds and looks amazing like an R9. There is a craqlure to the nitro on the body and a bloom to the Goldtop that I have tried to show in the pics, like an light aged Murphy Lab.
