Size: approx. 28x8.5x15.5cm max. dimensions ('Large' size - nominally 11")

Designed by John Clappison, and representing some of his now most sought-after  designs, the Home Decor range of vases and planters (only produced 1959-62) were made in various stylised forms, each finished in a simple yet elegant Art Deco inspired matt-white glaze.

Seen here is the very quirky 'Viking-Boat' planter a fun twist on a classic shape forming part of this superb range of Mid-Century Modern ceramics by an ever increasingly regarded, and collected, designer.

In overall very good clean condition free of any chips, cracks or crazing.
There is just a shallow 2mm nick off the front corner of the prow, shown ruthlessly in final macro detail photo.
