Very rare survivor Robinson 24" cruiser from 1983.

Extremely low numbers known in the UK.

First year Robinson released a 24" bmx frame set.

Spec is as follows.

83 Robinson frame and forks.

Robinson cruiser bars.

Pro Neck II stem.

Kashimax Aero seat and original ksm Allen key guts.

Elf lay back post.

Original Dia Compe MX seat clamp.

Profile gen 3a crankset and bb.

PPP turbo disc and Tuff neck 42t chainring.

VP pedals.

Tioga bear trap headset.

Front wheel is a 24"ukaj rim on a very corroded GT superlace hub.

The rear is an unknown but is fitted with a Profile elite freewheel which is quite frankly the muts nuts (130 quid freewheel).

Carlisle aggressor 24" dirt tyres 2.125.

The bike has certainly had a life, the chrome is shot in parts but great in others, all the components work as they should.

However, over the years this bike has been tampered with, firstly the rear brake bridge has been slightly crushed and also drilled to fit 10mm brake caliper spindles... an acs boa works fine.

Secondly, and for no obvious reason, there has been 2 holes drilled into the rear driveside dropout... my best guess would perhaps be a possible gear hanger?

Other than this and the obvious peeled chrome patches the frame and forks have no significant damage, no cracks dents bends or repairs.

The wheels in honesty could do with being changed, however they roll along nicely and do the job they're intended to.

An extremely rare bike and great for this summers coming ride outs.
