Welcome!!

I'm currently cleaning out my excess storage and must unfortunately part with some of my vintage collectibles, in order to make room for more necessities. Thank you so much for stopping by, and please don't hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or require some additional item photos!

DESCRIPTION:

Item: 16mm Movie Theater Print Reel Set
Platform: Embassy Pictures, Delta
Title: Trinity Is Still My Name
Year: 1972
Country: USA
Reels in set: Three
Condition: Very Good (Used - Complete)

* Starring Terence Hill as "Trinity" and Bud Spencer as "Bambino" in arguably, their most recognizable and iconic movie roles, these comedic spaghetti Westerns will split your sides from laughter...and have you jumping back in the saddle for more *

** This particular film has been stored well and doesn't appear to be suffering from what's called "vinegar syndrome". Vinegar syndrome, officially named 'acetate film base degradation' is a condition that results from the deterioration of cellulose acetate over the lifespan of a film. As vinegar syndrome progresses, it causes the film to become brittle, shrink, and take on an acidic odor, which smells like vinegar **

*** Due to the intensity of the heat from movie projector lighting,  the average lifespan of a movie print was 2-3 showings before the film was too brittle to be stretched through the projector for another viewing. After each showing, movie theaters would box up the reels and send them back to the production company (as they were only leased to the theaters), where they would be inspected to see if they could survive another viewing or if they needed to recycle the film (wipe it clean) to be used for anther production at a later date. My guess is this particular movie print has been viewed in theaters once or twice (still has the production company inspection information label), but was never leased back out to another theater. This is probably the only reason this print still survives intact.

**** VERY RARE movie collectible! This is the only theater print I've ever seen for this movie, so I'm not sure how many more may exist. As this wasn't a highly-marketed title (like Star Wars), these weren't mass-produced. For all we know, there could only be a small handful of these in existence...and this is one of them! If you're a Terence Hill, Bud Spencer, comedy/western or film collector, don't miss out on this one; the opportunity may not present itself ever again! ****

***** These reels are HEAVY, so expect shipping costs to be a little elevated to compensate for the weight of these. I also don't own a projector to verify the picture and sound quality of this film, so will be sold "as is" *****
