Up for sale is this Sony M-2000 Cassette Recorder / Transcriber with accessories. I picked this up with some other electronics, but have no use for it. Unfortunately, I do not have a micro-cassette tape with which to test it, but I tested what I could. The recorder includes a copy of the original manual, headphones (foam ear pads have deteriorated over age), foot pedal, power supply, and the original box with packaging. I plugged it in and was able to verify that the reverse, play, and fast forward modes all mechanically work as well as the digit counter. The green function (play) light lights up but I could not test the red "Record" light because I do not have a tape for it. A nice clean unit with no cracks or breaks.
