This is a 36-piece antique flatware set made by Northampton Cutlery Co. in the early 1900s. The set includes eight place settings, each with a salad fork, fork, spoon, and knife, as well as serving pieces. The flatware is made of stainless steel with mother of pearl handles and a silver band. It was manufactured in the United Kingdom and has a British cultural influence.

Set was purchased in the 1920's at Marshall Fiel'd in Chicago, Illinois. Set has been in the family ever since the original purchase. The set was only used on holidays and is in very good condition. Because it is stainless, there is no tarnish on the eating surfaces. There is some tarnish on the sterling silver bands above the handle and on some of the sterling silver serving pieces. The knives are marked Northampton and stainless. The bands are marked silver.
