Vintage yixing purple pottery teapot, Zisha clay, with light molded leaves on lid and pot. Branch shapes for knob, spout and handle. Original lid rope.

Condition: very good, used — looks like heated over flame at some time with some traces of charcoal around edges (see photos) and tea stained interior. Could be cleaned. I only did a light wash.

Inside of the lid is rough all the way around — looks like the making. Original narrow rope tying lid to pot has come undone on lid loop.

There is a flea bite flake under bottom edge — so small, but I tried to photo it — #11. Shipped USPS ground advantage, insured.
