This is an antique and sublime french figural gilt bronze chandelier with a hanging angel holding a profusely decorated crown with ormolu leaves, flowers and three lamp shades with the shape or roses. Signe with LH and a hallmark (see two last pictures). Very heavy and massive piece considering its size. The angel holds a torch in the other hand. Incredibly detailed chandelier with tassels and ribbons. This three lights single cherub chandelier is signed with a LH mark and has a superlative quality. It is so impressive that i can say, with no doubt, that this is the best single cherub chandelier i have seen in 20 years and probably one of the best ever made. The style, anatomy, expression and kind of wings make me think it could be made by Maison Millet during the end of XIX century of beginning of XX century. The chandelier includes three frosted glass lamp shades with the shape of roses. A really exceptional, fabulous and exquisite chandelier for demanding collectors. Overall height is 55 centimeters.
