The piece is cast in Herculite (not resin) and finished with an aged patina.  Standing just under 18cm tall, he is around twice the size of the original walrus ivory pieces and, weighing in at over half a kilogram, he's a lot more substantial.  

All my pieces are designed, modelled and hand cast by me.  Because they are all individually made, there may be some minor variations in finish from piece to piece.
