Here is a seldom seen original movie poster from the first release of Charles Barton's comic Western starring the great comedy team of Abbott and Costello, The Wistful Widow Of Wagon Gap. Two traveling salesmen in Montana are framed for the shooting death of a notorious criminal and, in order to avoid hanging, agree to take responsibility for the debts and family of the deceased (which include an ill-natured widow and 7 children). This poster is from the film's first release in Belgium in 1949. The artwork is unique to this Belgian release poster which rarely comes up for sale or auction.

DESCRIPTION: Wistful Widow Of Wagon Gap (1947) - Universal-International, Directed by Charles Barton

COUNTRY OF ORIGIN/SIZE: Belgium  14.25" x 21.25"

CONDITION: Good to Very Good Untrimmed Folded Condition. Untrimmed top white border has theater exhibition information written in black crayon and a couple of pinholes. An area of staining near the left horizontal fold. Very minor crinkling in the surrounding border edges. Artwork is vivid and completely intact. Folded in half as originally issued, this poster has been stored flat for 24 years and will be shipped rolled in a sturdy tube or box. Please see photos for all condition issues.
