A mid century still life painting by John N Pearce (b.1942)

An interesting collection of items which seem to be on a table top in a French streetside cafe.  Two bottles, one of Martell Cognac, a glass with gold patterning, a copy of Vogue and a red ceramic dish with a mermaid posed on the top.

An incised signature lower right 'J N Pearce', note the scratching in of the signature has caused a tiny chip the paint in the A and the final E, other than this the painting is in excellent original condition.

Undated, estimated to be 1970s.

Presented in an ivory painted wood frame with gilt edge.  The frame is in excellent vintage condition. Clean and tidy verso, ready to hang.

Measures 40 x 47cm including the frame.

Postage £8 to mainland UK, £26 to mainland Europe and £50 to the USA.
