Vintage 80s hair accessories from France, W. Germany, and the USA.
- The tuck combs with the circles are Goody USA.
- The red tuck comb with the ribbon blast embellishment is marked "Made in W. Germany".
- The red hair cincher/banana clip with hearts is unmarked. Please note the last tooth on one end of the clip is missing.
- The wide curved black & copper spiral design spring-clasp barrette is unmarked. Please note there may be very tiny spots of oxidation on the metal clasp but nothing severe.
- Everything else is marked "France" or "Made in France": the black star comb with rhinestones, the black wide oval barrette with rhinestones, the black leaf-shaped barrette with rhinestones, the white pearlized wide oval barrette, the small oval tortoiseshell barrette, and the three tortoiseshell bun pins. Please note that one of the bun pins is widened at the ends but is still flexible like the other pins. Please see photos. All the French barrettes have a brass colored metal clip which is non-magnetic.
Other than the metal clasps, these accessories are all made of plastic and may have light scratch marks on the surface when examined closely. All the barrettes close securely. Other than as mentioned above, these are in very good condition for their vintage. They have all been steam cleaned rather than soaked to avoid loosening the embellishments or rusting the metal.
