I purchased some 1940s wartime new/old stock from Belgium back in the 80s and this was in the lot. It was soiled from storage but of course, has been washed, no label but it had a stamp of the size in red on the front (I can't remember what the number was). These stamps were meant to wash off after a couple of washes, which it did. I've worn it a few times, it really is in very good condition. It hangs below the hips a bit, it may have been worn to sleep in or for some added warmth in the winter. It is shown on a size 10 mannequin but has some stretch.
