Embossed Nabeshima style Japanese Imari plate. Perhaps from the Hichozan kilns of Arita. Nicely executed, classic Nabeshima design and Hichozan palette. Underglaze, hand blown powder blue background, topped with polychrome enamels. The back is typical of Imari wares of the period. Meiji -- mid- to late 19th Century.

11 1/4" in diameter and 1 1/2" high.

One high spot has worn enamels (shelf wear). No other damage or repair.
