This spectroDENSITOMETER measures:

- Difference in optical densities
- All densities simultaneously (for measuring Pantone - it is better to use it).
- Dot gain
- Dot percentage
The 508 model has the same optics and electronics as the pricier X-Rite 528 and X-Rite 530 spectroPHOTOMETERS, which measure ΔE and Lab values.The only variation is different licenses (or passwords).
The 508 model provides accuracy similar to those (528 or 530) high-end devices.
