For sale is my superb 1970's Pioneer SA-508 integrated amplifier - from the golden age of Hifi. Although this amplifier is 40+ years old, it sounds absolutely fantastic - fully ready for another 45 years service! The original sprung speaker connections have been replaced with upgraded gold plated terminals which now accept 4mm banana plugs, spade connectors or bare wire. These old Pioneer amplifiers are built like tanks, with 2 sets of speaker outputs, a fantastic sounding phono stage for turntable connection, and the beautiful blue "Fluoroscan" fully functional power meters.

The amplifier is in excellent cosmetic condition, but please bear in mind it's age! There is a small area of wear to the bottom of the frame surrounding the power meters, which I've shown in the photo's, but this is not particularly noticeable, and does not detract from the amplifier at all. There is also one odd switch tip on the second tape switch - the original one is missing and has been replaced with a different style tip - again this is only cosmetic and the switch functions as it should. It's never bothered me, and a replacement original switch tip could be found on ebay if this bothers you. Can be demonstrated working. Rare chance to buy a classic in this condition!
