This exceptionally large and impressive piece has been expertly hand crafted and signed by the renowned Australian glass artist Richard Lamphrect, founder of Ricardo Glass studio.

This exquisite piece is spectacularly coloured with random splashes of transparent pink, purple and blue creating a delightful stained glass effect. Wafts of milky opaque white float cloud-like within, adding an ethereal lightness to the radiant design.

The layers of colour blend and combine to create a striking range of tones and random effects, ensuring this exquisite hand crafted piece is a totally unique and individual work of art.

The glass has been expertly tooled to create an organic, free-flowing shape with a stylishly curved waved rim adding a wonderfully dynamic sense of movement to the design.

The bowl stands proudly atop a wide and stable applied clear glass foot and elegantly shaped stem which has been masterfully tooled to create five leaf shaped petals which beautifully embrace the lower portion of the bowl.

The base beautifully elevates the richly coloured form enabling the light to illuminate the glass from every angle, magnificently intensifying the vibrant colours and casting divine reflections.

THE ARTIST: Austrian-born glass artist, Richard Lamprecht began his artistic career as an interior designer, with a fascination for light, shadow and colour from the outset. Migrating to Australia in 1974, Lamprecht embarked upon his own creative endeavor, co-founding a business producing wax lampshades and wax paintings. The attraction to glass was a rather natural progression for the exuberant experimental artist fascinated with light and fluid materials. Lamprecht's new-found obsession with the medium led him to work and study alongside some of Australia's finest glass artists, honing his technical skills before establishing his own studio in Maleny, Queensland in 1996. Lamprecht is a widely exhibited artist with works featuring in both public and private collections within Australia and overseas.
