This is an original press photo. Student scientists Jay Marlborough, left, and Laurent E. Lafargue test controls of the weather satellite they built with help of Southern Bell Telephone and Telegraph Company. Both boys are students at Cor Jesu High School. About five months ago, Cor Jesu High students Laurent E. Lafargue and Jay Marlborough decided to build a weather satellite. They were long on know-how , but short on equipment. Photo measures 7.75 x 8.25 inches. Photo is dated 06-09-1962.
