The S TECH fork springs were specially developed for tough off-road use. They are manufactured according to DIN quality 1 and ISO 9000/2000 and are subject to permanent quality control.

Characteristics:

• Made of high quality chrome silicon spring steel
• Both ends ground
• heat treated and
• Preset (-> minimal setting losses)
• Surface hardened (shot peened)
• Very high blocking resistance
• Very small lateral forces with ideal positioning of the force axis relative to the spring axis
• Plane parallelism and exact position of the spring ends to each other under loaded and unloaded condition
• Very small tolerances: inner diameter di ± 0.25%, spring rate C ± 2.5%

Note: With polished fork springs, the spring rate is noted on the underside of the foot!
