J. Pierpont Morgan's collection, comprising 795 lots, was sold by Christie, Manson & Woods on 24th June 1935. The catalogue is neatly marked up in ink by someone who was presumably in the saleroom, with prices realised and the names of the winning bidders, providing a useful source for provenance.
