This is a cleverly done Early Vintage Collage Picture, made using several types of fabrics available at that time. There is net, various thicknesses of fabric, some almost like carpet, and some pieces frayed to look like fencing. There is a rising sun and a stream flowing down through the landscape, all in lovely shades of greens, yellows, browns and blues. The colours are still true and vibrant. This interesting collage measures 41cm x 30.5cm and is mounted on hardboard. This was in an original oak frame under glass but the frame was badly damaged so I am selling this unframed. This is in Very Good condition, just slight discolouration of the netting sky due to the type of glue used at the time.
I am not an expert, I am trying to describe as accurately as possible, as I am selling items from my late husband's collections.
