North-Western Railway Lime Street Station Hotel Liverpool Scarce Luggage Label

This lot is an original vintage luggage label from the North-Western Hotel located at Lime Street Station in Liverpool, England. Opened as a railway hotel in 1871 by the London and North Western Railway, the hotel served Lime Street railway station. The design was by Alfred Waterhouse, containing 330 rooms. The hotel closed in 1933.

This vintage luggage label from the early 1900s features an engraved central image of the beautiful hotel. The label, printed on thin paper, is approximately 4" tall by 5" wide.
