A very nice copy of this, the second English edition of short stories, published by Secker and Warburg in 1946, following the first English edition of 1933.

In extremely clean unclipped dustwrapper; note minor wear to top and bottom of spine; spine also a little soiled with a few light marks but overall really very good.

Blue cloth boards likewise very good; cloth extremely clean; corners and edges excellent; text to spine strong and clear; note light mark to rear board and ditto to spine.

Internally near perfect; bright and sharp; no inscriptions; appears unread.
