A distinguished pair of antique French solid brass and crystal spears sconces, from the 1920s, with a nice patina (not overly polished).
They were made of a high-quality brass and the crystals are all present.
The pair was rewired a few decades ago since the wiring doesn't seem original from the early 1900s, also the bulb housing was replaced at that time for it does no longer have the on/off pull chains hanging from each bulb socket.
The bulb housing was somewhat unprofessional recreated, but it is in a good working condition.
The older candle sleeves have aged nicely, but again, they are not the original ones.
Nevertheless, the overall presentation is impressive and is sure to enhance any room with sophistication.
Complimentary added to the box are the 4 bulbs as shown. Each sconce requires 2 screws (not included)
