Here are three vintage stout pieces of Stangl's "Town & Country" ceramic dinnerware from the mid-1970s.  The pattern of unique hand-applied spongeware blue on white also has the rims edged in blackish-blue.  The finish is matte or satin with only the interior mug a glossy white. All pieces were crafted in the USA.

Both plates are imperfect yet still lovely, see last photo.  Price for the group reduced accordingly.

The Mug is in great condition with no chips, crazing, or scratches.  It stands almost 3" tall with a 3" rim diameter.  It weighs 8 ounces.

The Dinner Plate is imperfect with 3 small chips on the underside rim that are hard to see on this pattern.  It has a diameter almost 10" and weighs 1 lb 12 oz.

The Salad Plate is imperfect with 1 small rim chip on the topside that's hard to see.  It has a diameter of 8" and weighs 15 oz.

The backstamp on all reads "Stangl ® Trenton N.J., Since 1805, Hand Painted, Town & Country". The dinner plate also has a second stamp "The United States Potters Association, Glaze Tested, Approved".

Thanks for looking.
