Weighing in at 87.6 Grams measuring about 3.5" high by 3" wide by 2 1/4" deep (all off about 1/8") with hand tooled decorations in a Muslim/Persian style with script on the bottom is a silver Tea or Snuff Caddy. Should date to the 19 Century but we are not sure. No base metal shows and it tests as silver. Persian script on bottom appears to translate to a Muslim saying.
We have put this on Auction for the market to determine value. Condition is very good with a slight push at one top edge and a nib in the top. Top fits snug, air tight.
