This hard paste porcelain coffee cup and saucer was made by New Hall circa 1787-1800 , it is from the Pat Preller collection and bears her label on the base .
It is the faceted shape and is decorated with a gold sprig on the centre of the saucer and enriched with gilding .
The cup stands at 2 1/2" high and the saucer measures 5 1/8" in diameter .
It is in good condition with no chips or cracks and no glaze crazing .
The gilding is very good .
There is a fine under the glaze shrinkage flaw on the side of the saucer and some speckles of kiln dust all from when it was made .
I will be listing lots more New Hall from the Pat Preller collection over the next few months , due to Pat thinning out her large collection .
