This hard paste porcelain dessert plate was made by New Hall circa 1805-12 , it is from the Pat Preller collection and bears her label and the pattern number 490 on the base .
It is decorated with a tobacco pattern and enriched with gilding .
It measures 7 1/8" in diameter .
There are some cracks across the base , one of these is stained and shows on both sides , there are two chips on the edge .
There is some wear to the gilding and to the enamels in the centre , there is no glaze crazing .
I will be listing lots more New Hall from the Pat Preller collection over the next few months , due to Pat thinning out her large collection .
